Am I on the right path towards getting into these universities? what should I do?

Need more information from you about you actual SAT scores, your gpa, etc. I would say you have an ok chance at these schools but I really have to say that if you want to go to a school just becuase your family went to good schools, you probably won't be accepted. You need to shine out from the applicant pool and be unique.
