Yes and no. I think that various branches of the government teach you something - decisiveness, working together, it would be interesting to see a supreme court justice step down and dirty themselves in the oval office. But, I think that wisdom, intelligence, understanding, common sense, fairness, integrity, and a sense of justice are all more important, but frequently lacking. I think you could stick someone in off the street and have them do better than some (Bush, Jr.)
