How can I stop being jealous of what other people have and not feel guilty about what i do have?
Hello, I am a 20 year old female college student. I have issues of jealousy when I am walking around campus and I see girls wearing expensive ugg boots, having large coach bags, and expensive clothes and hats. I just can't help it. It makes me jealous and angry, and wish that my parents had that money so that I could have all of those nice things too. But also when I walk around campus, I see people who are in worse financial condition than I am, wearing old and torn clothes, ripped sneakers, and holding their books walking with their face towards the ground. How can I stop being shallow, selfish, and jealous, be grateful for what I have, and stop feeling guilty about what I do have when I see less fortunate people? What can I do? It's overwhelming. Thank you.
