Ive been trying to make friends with certain crowd but I cant enter this crowd because people are blocking me?

I know it's natural to want to be with the people with whom you "think" you have a lot in common with. It seems as if in this case, the only thing is common is race/culture. You have to give it up man. It didn't work for you in high school and as you mentioned, this is the same people you are with. Move on. The good thing about University is that there are a wide variety of people to bond with who are not necessarily of your race/culture/age group. I don't know about you but I want to "matter" to the people whom I consider to be my friends. I just don't want to tag along and not even be missed if something should happen to me. Be open minded and expand your borders.
